During January, Dr. Motti Charter of Haifa University in Israel is going to be visiting Florida to view our barn owl program and also talk about the program they have developed using barn owls for rodent control in Israel.  With the assistance of Ted Winsberg, I have scheduled the meeting hall at GREEN CAY NATURE CENTER for Wednesday, January 27^th for a talk by Dr. Charter.  It will run from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by questions and perhaps refreshments.  It should be an interesting as well as entertaining talk and I was hoping you could put the word out to your fellow birders.  I am attaching a video link that Dr. Charter sent me about the program, so that you can get the gist of the talk “Barn Owls:  Birds Without Borders”.
