From Tabitha Cale: The refuge has been doing the best they can to manage the invasive species, but need more federal funding to combat them. Audubon Florida has been advocating for more federal funding for the refuge and will continue to do so. We are very supportive of the refuge staying a refuge and want to make sure the SFWMD does not try to revoke their lease. It would be great if from the ASE chapter could go to this meeting on April 6 to support Loxahatchee.
