The South Florida Water Management District Governing Board is scheduled to meet this week on Wednesday and Thursday, September 10-11, 2008.
On Wednesday, September 10, District staff will be providing an update on the “River of Grass” land acquisition project during the scheduled Board committee meetings and workshop.  The project update will include information about due diligence, public assurances, conceptual project planning and the public process.  The staff presentations will begin at 9:45 a.m. during the Project & Lands Committee meeting, and continue through the Audit & Finance Committee meeting and afternoon Workshop.
The meetings will be held in the B-1 Auditorium at District Headquarters in West Palm Beach.
