In case you haven’t found it, our own Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the folks behind the Great Florida Birding Trail publish a biannual newsletter, and the Spring edition is now available. Each issue highlights a few sites from the various portions of the trail (East, West, Panhandle, and South), along with highlights of species that can be seen at various sites. The FWC doesn’t limit species highlights to birds, either: the Spring 2009 issue features profiles and observing tips for sea turtles!
