Join Mary Dunning and Theresa Aubin for a delightful walk along the paved path of this nature preserve, boasting a record of 182 bird species. Our goal is to spot migratory birds like Lincoln’s Sparrow, Savannah & Swamp Sparrows, Eastern Towhees, in addition to our local feathered residents.

Accessibility: All ages and abilities are welcomed, and the boardwalk is thoughtfully designed for those with wheelchairs and assistive walking devices.

Meeting Point: Let’s gather in the first parking lot to commence our birding adventure.

Registration Requirement: Please remember that registration is essential for participation in this event; we are unable to accommodate walk-ins.

Group Size: To ensure a personalized and enriching experience, we’ve intentionally limited the group size to a small gathering of bird enthusiasts.

Cancellation Policy: In the spirit of consideration for fellow nature enthusiasts, if you register but are unable to attend, we kindly request that you cancel your ticket. This thoughtful gesture opens up the opportunity for others to join the event, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Mary and Theresa will guide us from the first parking lot, where the restrooms are located, to the tower, covering a pleasant 2.8-mile loop. Please make every effort to arrive on time, allowing for potential travel time and any GPS-related uncertainties. If, for any reason, you register but find that you cannot attend, please don’t forget to cancel your ticket.

Photographs are a wonderful way to capture the beauty and fun of our birding adventures. We encourage photographers to take photos for their personal use and enjoyment and to share them on social media. By signing the AE consent, you agree to having your photo taken.

There will be a shared eBird list, that goes to your email you registered with.
