Located east of Lake Okeechobee and 25 miles northwest of West Palm Beach, it stands as a prominent fixture along the Ocean to Lake Trail and the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. Under the stewardship of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), this site preserves a rich array of flora and fauna, ensuring its natural splendor for future generations to appreciate.
