Dear EVCO Members,
With our collective work as Everglades Coalition members, we have come to truly understand and value the importance of collaboration. I am very pleased to represent the extraordinary collaborative efforts of EVCO as a featured speaker at the virtual Spring of Sustainability Biodiversity Collaboration Roundtable on Saturday, May 11 at 4 pm EDT. EVCO members are invited to listen in free live by phone or web by registering at www.bitly.com/SpringEVCO — and to spread the word to their organization members. The recording will also be available for 48 hours afterwards, but I hope that you will be there live and participate in the Q&A at the end.
Joining me will be Defenders Florida Program Director Laurie Macdonald as moderator,Endangered Species Coalition President Brock Evans, Defenders Executive V.P. Don Barry, and UNDP Senior Policy Advisor Charles McNeill.
It’s truly a privilege to be part of the Spring of Sustainability series which features over 60 environmental leaders and visionaries in free interactive interviews and panels from April 2 to June 14. Bill McKibben, Vandana Shiva, John Perkins and so many more of our heroes and inspirations are accessible to us free through this program whose goal is to both raise awareness and empower large-scale shifts toward sustainability.
As an added bonus, a fundraising element has been built into the program to support the environmental NGO community. By registering your organization at www.bitly.com/SpringEVCOA and sharing about the Spring of Sustainability series with your members, a percentage (half) of any purchases made by them to own the full series speaker collection will be donated to your organization. An opportunity for your organization to have a visual presence on the program website is also available. For more information, contact patricia@swcoalition.org at the Sustainable World Coalition.
With a global audience from over 89 countries participating in this program, I am excited to share about our great work on May 11th and look forward to your participation.
Sincerely,
Dawn Shirreffs
National Co-Chair
