From the Palm Beach Post:

The famed Barley Barber Swamp on the grounds of FPL’s Martin County Plant will reopen for public tours November 3, 2010. It has been closed since 9/11. The 400-acre freshwater preserve a mile east of Lake Okeechobee and west of Indiantown is considered one of the finest remaining old-growth cypress swamps in Florida. It has one of the largest bald cypress trees in the United States. The boardwalk has been renovated and invasive vegetation has been cleared in preparation for the reopening. The Treasured Lands Foundation is leading tours.
